ERC GeoNuFE

Critical Geopolitics of Nuclear Fuel supply in Europe

5 years

Running from 2025 to 2030

ERC Starting Grant

Project led by Ass. Prof. Teva Meyer

GeoNuFE, short for « critical Geopolitics of Nuclear Fuel supply in Europe », is a research project funded by a European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant.

Running from 2025 to 2030, it is led by Ass. Prof. Teva Meyer at the Université de Haute-Alsace in France.

Its core objective is to understand how nuclear-powered countries secure their fuel supply.

To achieve this, it focuses on two key research questions:

  1. Where does power reside within the nuclear fuel supply chain?
  2. Second: How do perceptions of these geopolitical risks influence the decisions of those responsible for shaping supply policies?

This website will serve as the hub for our project, featuring short analyses, in-depth reports, videos, and databases to explore the information we gather.

Stay tuned—we look forward to sharing our work with you!
