Loup Deladerrière

Loup Deladerrière is geographer and Post-doctoral researcher for GeoNuFE at the University de Haute-Alsace and he is focus on the geopolitic of nuclear fuel supply in Finland.

He is affiliated with the Research Center on Economies, Societies, Arts, and Techniques (CRESAT-UR 3436) and associate researcher at the Center for Turkish, Ottoman, Balkan and Central Asia Studies (CETOBaC-UMR 8032). He obtained his PhD from the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in Paris (EHESS) in 2024. His research was investigating the evolution of air pollution governance and the socio-urban transformations in Tehran and Mexico. He then works between 2024 and 2026 at the University Paris-Saclay as a postdoctoral researcher for a Horizon Europe project (AWARD) focus on Alternative Water Resources and Deliberation processes to renew water supply strategic planning in Europe.

His research focuses on the political geography of environment and energy. Using empirical and theoretical approaches that take into account different spatial and social scales, his research examines how societies think, represent and govern environmental and energy issues.
