The Center for Research on Economies, Societies, Arts, and Techniques (CRESAT-UR 3436) serves as the host laboratory for the GeoNuFE project. Established in 1984, CRESAT is part of the Université de Haute-Alsace and is based at the Fonderie Campus in Mulhouse, France. Bringing together geographers and historians, the center specializes in exploring the sociopolitical dimensions of nuclear technologies.
The Université de Haute-Alsace is the host institution for the GeoNuFE project. Founded in 1975, it is a public, multidisciplinary higher education institution located in Mulhouse, France, near the German and Swiss borders.
